COVID-19 Emergency Policy
(Updated March 18, 2020)
In lieu of the COVID-19 crisis, we are updating our cancellation policy for trips booked **before March 13 with stays that fall between March 13 and April 30**. Guests can
- Either re-schedule a non-refundable date in the future,
- Or receive a 50% refund immediately.
For AirBNB cancellations
We are currently following Airbnb’s policies for the COVID-19 situation: Reservations made on or before March 14, 2020 for stays and Airbnb Experiences, with a check-in date between March 14, 2020 and April 14, 2020, are covered by the policy and may be cancelled before check-in. Guests who cancel will receive a full refund, and hosts can cancel without charge or impact to their Superhost status. Airbnb will refund all service fees for covered cancellations.
The host’s cancellation policy will apply as usual to reservations made after March 14, 2020, and to reservations made on or before March 14, 2020 with check-in dates after April 14, 2020.
For Tent Sites
Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.
The new policy we are implementing is not perfect, but in this unprecedented time we believe it strikes the best balance of protecting travelers, partners, and the public. We are actively rolling out operations to support this policy.
