The Space

Our Appleton Pass Suite is perfect for a family, two couples, or a group of friends looking for a PNW getaway.

This suite features two adjoining private rooms with a queen-sized bed in each and a locking door in between the two rooms. There is one large, full-sized, private bathroom. A kitchenette is also included with a sink, microwave, mini-fridge, and four-cup coffeemaker (including coffee), along with a table and two chairs. Bring a book and some board games and enjoy this quaint suite, which offers ample space and comfort for four guests.

The crescendo to the story is the inn’s cozy property, complete with a small farm, surrounding views of the Olympic Mountains, a forest for exploring, and a short, 8-mile drive from Lake Crescent for the ultimate PNW experience.

Our delightful Deer Lake room boasts a welcoming queen-sized bed as well as a full, private bathroom. There is also desk space, a small table and two chairs, and a four-cup coffeemaker (including coffee). This delightful room is ideal for two guests.

Pick up a bottle of wine from a local winery and enjoy the serene setting surrounding the gazebo behind the cafe. The Deer Lake room adjoins the Elwha Valley room next door if you need a little extra space (must be booked separately and is subject to availability).

Tent Sites

The Emerald Valley Inn’s seven tent sites are located on our beautiful property and afford ideal tent camping with mountain and forest views, all the while being conveniently located to the Olympic National Park’s most popular spots.

Sites T3-T7 are available for car or van camping, as well as tent camping.

Sites T5-T7  have unobstructed views of the mountains but have minimal or no tree shade, so consider bringing a canopy with you.

All of our sites include one picnic table, two Adirondack chairs, a Solo Stove fire pit, and room for setting up your own tent (BYOT). There is also access to freshwater, a nearby portable toilet, in addition to men’s and women’s restrooms, and a shower room (fee). Bundled firewood is also available for purchase onsite. Be sure to visit our mini-farm on the property with goats, a donkey, chickens, and emus!

Located just 15 minutes west outside of Port Angeles, our guests can enjoy the serenity and beauty of the Olympic Peninsula with easy access to town and some of the best hiking, fishing, and exploring you can find on the Olympic Peninsula. There is so much to do in and around the Olympic National Park, so take your time and enjoy your stay!

Things to Note

*Bring your own tent. These are primitive sites with fire pits, shared restroom facilities and access to fresh water.

*Please keep in mind that this campsite is on private property.

*There is a shower available for tent campers for a fee ($3 per shower or $5 for two). PLEASE NOTE that towels are not provided. There are a men’s and women’s restrooms behind the cafe building, as well as a portable toilet near the campsite.

*Tent sites are limited to 2 guests, or 1 family sleeping in one tent driving a single vehicle.

*(Max 4 guests at a site) For parties of multiple guests and vehicles please book an additional site or contact us directly.

*Bring your own fire wood, or we do have bundles available for purchase.

*To add to the beauty of our remote area, there is limited no lighting at night. This is important to remember if you plan to arrive late after sunset.

*There is no WiFi service available at the tent sites. However, we do have good LTE/4G cell reception while on the property via the AT&T and Verizon networks in our area.

*During the summer months, tent sites T1-T4 have ample tree shade, while sites T5-T7 have minimal to no tree shade at all. You might consider bringing a canopy with you if booking T5, T6, or T7. T5 has tree shade in the morning but no shade in the afternoon.
